Moon Artwork
Here are some artwork I have done to give a feeling for the Moon and what it would be like to go there. The Moon images are real and were taken with my telescope, the special effects have been added in Photoshop.

Inspired by a view of the lunar farside "Apollo basin"
at sunrise LTVT, I made this artwork depicting what it could have been like if one of the remaining
Apollo mission had flown. There was one mission planned that was to be a lunar
polar-orbital flight, with no landing, just collecting global remote sensing
data, like the LRO and other missions of today.
In my imagination here is Apollo 20 flying over the
Apollo basin at lunar dawn. The astronauts have oriented the CSM to take
photos of this great basin named for the Apollo program.
